         Surrounded by the mountain ranges of the hill country and the lush green tea plantations which is the largest tea growing area of Sri Lanka lies tucked away down a mountain slope you will find The Waterfall Resort.
Built with a strong view of preserving the environment the resort has 43 purpose built Villas in a region rich in natural springs and a bird’s eye view of St Clair’s Waterfall which runs through the town of Talawakele.
Leisurely surveys of green tea plantations, a visit to a tea factory, a mountain trek, a dip under the cool water of a natural spring or a stroll in the country side are all pastimes that await you when you spend a holiday with a difference. About The Waterfall Resort, Talawakele.

          The Waterfall Resort is a project coming under the Idea Group of companies, stemming from the idea and concept of Mr. Sampath Mayakaduwa, the CEO of the group.
The Waterfall resort is built on the slopes of the Devon tea estate and consisting of 43 gracefully designed villas each offering star class facilities with a clear view of St Clair’s waterfall. The resort is situated 5kms from Talawakele town and 12 kms from Hatton. The resort is surrounded by mountain ranges and has an average rainfall 18°C which makes it the sought after place to spend a memorable holiday.

Family adventure like bird watching, tea trails, a tour of the tea plantations are some of the attractions, some may like to venture further to places like the world’s end or Adams Peak.
